Celebrating the Life of Mama B —
Help Us Honor Barb Smith with the Send-Off She Deserves!
Our Cocoa Village Community lost a true original.
Barb Smith — lovingly known by many as “Mama B” — passed away, leaving behind a legacy of strength, love, and unapologetic truth.
She was a proud veteran, a fierce friend, a karaoke icon, and a constant, comforting presence in the Village.
To know Barb was to be reminded of what it means to live out LOUD. Whether she was belting out a classic tune, offering unfiltered advice, or simply showing up for the people she loved, she left a mark on everyone lucky enough to cross her path.
We’re raising funds to cover Barb’s funeral and memorial expenses, including a full military service to honor her service to our country — a tribute she earned and deserves.
Any additional funds will go toward supporting her family during this incredibly difficult time.
If Barb ever made you laugh, lent you strength, or shared a cold Miller High Life by your side, we hope you’ll consider giving what you can. Every contribution helps us give Mama B the beautiful, bold, and respectful farewell that matches the life she lived so fully.
In addition, join us on TUESDAY 6/3 beginning at 5pm at
The George and Dragon English Tavern in Cocoa Village
We will have Food and Karaoke and share lots of stories in Barbs Memory.
With love and gratitude,
