It's with the heaviest hearts that we're sharing some incredibly difficult news with you all. On November 9th, our precious baby girl, Selena Desiree Lopez, arrived much too soon at just 22 weeks. She bravely fought but then peacefully passed away the very next day. Our world has been completely turned upside down, and honestly, nothing could have prepared us for this kind of heartbreak.

As you can imagine, this sudden loss has brought a lot of unexpected challenges. We've both had to take time away from work, and between the arrangements for Selena Desiree’s memorial, medical bills, and just keeping up with daily living expenses, things are really adding up but our love for her is boundless and will always be a part of us. Right now, Javier and I are just completely heartbroken, trying to navigate this overwhelming wave of grief.

We're usually the ones helping others, and it feels a bit strange to ask, but if there's any way you could offer a hand, even a small gesture would mean the world to us and truly be a huge comfort. In lieu of flowers we ask if you're thinking of us, maybe just a quick message to say hi, or if you felt like dropping off a warm meal when cooking feels too much, or donate to her memorial fund that would be amazing. Also, if you happen to have any spare home improvement supplies or you could lend a hand with our ongoing renovation, that would also be incredibly helpful. And of course, just holding us and our little Selena Desiree in your thoughts and prayers means everything. Truly, any bit of kindness, no matter how small, would be a huge light for us right now.
