It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of my father, Arturo Alcala. He was the kind of person who always put family first and was there for others whenever they needed him.

After a tough year of battling illnesses and ICE deporting him, he couldn’t receive the proper medical services in Mexico. Our lives will never be the same without him.

As we navigate this loss, we are asking for help with bringing him home to California for a proper burial to be surrounded by his family. This was not something our family was prepared for, and the financial stress has made an already painful time even harder.
