- She was a woman of stories, and we want to share hers with you. Born and raised in Toledo with the boot of a Louisianan mother on her hip, my mom had a lot of love, and you could see her glow with it. She accepted everyone. I can say I’m happy and proud of my momma. We are asking for our goal of $1,500 to be reached for her cremation; my mom was never the one for the dark or bugs - yuck.
