Help Us Lay Alexis “Smiley” Beamud to Rest

It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating loss of our beloved Alexis Beamud — affectionately known as Smiley, Ale, and, in my phone, forever as “Pain in my Ass.” After a long and difficult battle, Alexis left us far too soon. Our hearts are shattered beyond words.

Alexis was so much to so many — a devoted son, a proud father to Alexis, Desteny, and Heber, a caring brother, a fun-loving uncle, and a friend who could light up any room. He had a smile that could lift your spirits no matter the circumstances, a stubborn streak that made him unforgettable, and a love for his family that was as fierce as it was unique.

This loss has come unexpectedly, and we are now faced with the heartbreaking task of saying goodbye. We are creating this GoFundMe to help cover funeral and memorial expenses so we can honor Alexis in the way he deserves. Any contributions, no matter the size, will go directly toward these costs and ensuring his family near and far have the chance to say a proper goodbye.
