On Christmas Eve, my little brother Alex passed away unexpectedly. The shock and pain of losing him has been overwhelming, especially as I am organizing everything from Tallahassee, Florida, while my mother is in Muskegon, Michigan. Alex is being cremated in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and the distance has made this already heartbreaking situation even harder to manage.
Alex found so much comfort in music. It was his escape and a place that made him feel better, and I would love for people to listen to his music and remember him that way. Here is a link to his YouTube: https://youtube.com/@toolegit2853?si=UNm4AFTQ8BnDHMh_ My mom has been worrying about him and not knowing where he was. Finding out he was in Indiana and losing him so suddenly has been devastating for our family.
We are raising funds to help cover the cost of Alex's cremation, choosing a vase for his ashes, and setting up a memorial service so friends and family can come together to remember him. Anything extra will go toward supporting my mother during this incredibly difficult time. Any support you can offer means the world to us as we try to honor Alex and help my mom through her grief.
