Help Us Raise Money For Abraham's Grandfather's Burial
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Abraham Salcedo. The person in the pictures is my grandfather who raised me since I was a kid, as I didn’t know my biological father. I love that man so much; he’s my best friend, my jefe. He came from Jalisco to the United States to give us a better life, and I couldn’t be more thankful for everything he has done for me and my family. Unfortunately My grandfather did not have life insurance and it’s too late to get him one so everything will be paid with the donations and out of pocket.
A couple of months ago, he had 3 strokes and 3 heart attacks. I saw him slowly dying in his bed. I had no idea at the moment what was going on. I asked him if he wanted to go to the hospital, and he didn’t want to; he asked to be left in his bed if those were his final moments. The family got really concerned, and we called the ambulance around 11 pm. They arrived, and he was just not the same. I noticed mentally he wasn’t eating, sleeping, or drinking water, etc. We found out from the doctors that the strokes affected him badly and the heart attacks caused him to have internal bleeding in his brain, leaving him paralyzed on the left side of his body, and his left side of his brain unfortunately died. He was in ICU for a while, and it hurts me and my family to see him like this, knowing he won’t be the same. His heart is very weak; he has Alzheimer’s now as well and many other things. He is a strong man considering he survived cancer in the past and getting shot. But he has come to his final straw, and he can be gone at any moment. Times are tough, and from the bottom of my heart to yours, if we can spread the word and fundraise money to get my grandfather a proper burial, I would be so grateful. I have been working, and it just won’t be enough. The cost of everything is expensive. It’s sad that we need to pay even when we leave this world. God bless everyone. Thank you for your donations; anything helps.
