I am a wife and mother figure trying to hold our family together during one of the most painful chapters of our lives. Henry is Liberian-born and raised in Kenya, a devoted husband and father whose life has been shaped by resilience, responsibility, and deep family values. He was detained in Minnesota on December 5, 2025, and later transferred to Pine Prairie ICE Processing Center in Louisiana on December 21, 2025—separating him from the family and community who depend on him. His absence has created overwhelming emotional and financial strain, deeply affecting my stepson and his grandmother. He shares 50/50 custody of my stepson. Before his detention, he was a constant presence—helping with school, bedtime, soccer games, and family routines. That bond has been abruptly interrupted, leaving his son confused, scared, and heartbroken. My husband is also the primary support for my 80-year-old mother-in-law, who lives with serious health conditions. While she is cared for by family, he had been planning to move her to Minnesota to provide hands-on support.
Financially, we are struggling without his income. We risk losing our home and need help covering mortgage payments, basic living expenses, and legal costs, as well as support for our child and mother-in-law. Out of respect for my stepson’s privacy, we have not shared his photos.
Every donation, no matter how small, helps a child who wants his father back and a family working to stay whole. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing our fundraiser. Your support and kindness mean the world. Thank you for standing with us and supporting a child who deserves stability, love, and the chance to grow up with his father fully involved, as well as a grandmother who relies on his crucial support. I deeply miss my husband, who has always been a source of strength and guidance, and his absence has affected my family’s stability and structure. With gratitude, The Page Family.
