Rocky Mountain French Bulldog Rescue (RMFBR) has been a lifeline for Frenchies with severe medical needs — often dogs rejected by others, those with paralysis, congenital defects, or end-of-life conditions. RMFBR actively works to take in, rehabilitate, and rehome French Bulldogs with critical medical needs.
Without sufficient funds, we will be forced to shut down at the end of 2025. Without help, their stories may never get the happy endings they’re waiting for.
RMFBR depends entirely on donations, fosters, and volunteers. We are foster-based — we have no facility. All dogs are lovingly housed in volunteer foster homes until ready for adoption.
Since our founding in 2014, we’ve helped over 600 Frenchies find new hope and furever homes.
What $50,000 Will Do
Here’s how your donation can be transformational:Use Estimated Cost / Impact
*Emergency & chronic medical care (surgeries, imaging, neurology) $20,000
*Routine vetting, spay/neuter, microchipping, dental work $15,000
*Mobility devices or prosthetics $5,000
*Medication, therapies (PT, hydrotherapy, etc.) $5,000
*Transport & travel to accept surrenders, transfers $3,000
*Foster support (supplies, follow-up) $2,000
Even small gifts add up. A $25 donation can cover heartworm testing or vaccines. A $100 gift may fund bloodwork or x-rays. A monthly supporter giving $10–$25 can sustain critical operations.

Why Trust Us? Transparency & Accountability
*EIN / 501(c)(3): RMFBR is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our EIN is 47-2430608.
*Financial reporting: We file IRS Form 990 (or applicable variant) annually, as required for tax-exempt organizations.
*Public records: Donors and the public may review our filings.
*Foster-based model: We have no brick-and-mortar facility, reducing overhead and directing funds toward dog care and operations.
*We are committed to full accountability. We email donors monthly how funds were used, how many dogs saved, and metrics of success.
The Clock Is Ticking
If we cannot raise $50,000 by December 31, 2025, RMFBR will cease the majority of operations. This is not a scare tactic — it's our stark reality. We have already begun planning for wind-down contingencies (which means some dogs will lose access to care). At this time, we have 27 dogs in foster. We have more waiting to come in yet we can take no more surrenders at this time due to lack of funding.
But we refuse to give up without a fight. With your help, this story doesn’t have to end. You can save lives in a world that is often cruel to the vulnerable.
Some Voices from Our Community
“They never shy away from the most difficult rescues … RMFBR created an organization that celebrates dogs that would most certainly be put down or rejected by others.”
“Knowing the countless hours (the team) spends … if it wasn’t for RMFBR, Gus may not have known how truly wonderful he was.”
These voices are mirrors of lives changed — lives only possible because people like you cared.
This is a call for your compassion and action. The stakes are heartbreakingly real. Help us cross the finish line. Help us not only survive but to continue rescuing Frenchies who otherwise would have no chance.
Donate. Sign up monthly. Attend our events. Share this widely. Let’s show the world that love — and persistence — still wins.
Save RMFBR. Save lives.
