Hello its Bonny and Colin, for our first mission here in Uganda, our objective is to establish a sustainable source of food security, education, and therapeutic community engagement in BidiBidi. When we leave for Bidi Bidi we are planing on making a -chicken traktor on steriodes a fish pond, Implient small scale animal husbandry with again with chicken, rabbits and 2 dwarf goats and three demonstration permaculture gardens with the Kids and staff of the Organisation I can children.

For us to be able to implent our plan
We need to raise 3,050,000 (882.13$ or 699.77Chf) Ugandan Shillings to construct the chicken traktor on steriods, purchase 100 chicks, some grown Chicken a Roster, 2 young Goats, a couple of rabbits, Tools and cover transport and food costs for the Journey from Kampala to Bidi Bidi with everything purchesd in Kampala. Plan of travel 28.1.2026.

Bonny (my Dog) and I are Permaculture farmers and trained early year teacher from Switzerland who are passionate about food security for Children and Animals. We are teaming up with Stephen Wimdu of I CAN CHILDREN to establish this professional site.
During this period, I CAN CHILDREN will receive the chickens and a "chicken tractor on steroids." This system produces compost, feeds the chickens, provides eggs, and keeps the flock safe. We will also construct a pond and bring a couple of young goats and rabbits for breeding.. If additional funds are raised, we will stock the pond with fish. The pond will also help retain water in the soil and distribute it.
A key goal is to share permaculture knowledge with interested members of the host community.
We will also organize activities with the children, including singing, dancing, playing games, and storytelling to provide variety and joy. Bonny, who serves as a therapy dog, will help take away the children's fear and give them positive experiences.
We are committed to using recycled materials such as old clothes and plastic bottles. For example, old clothes can be used as example for mulch, as a toilet paper substitute (later to be composted), or for creative projects like building a shadow sail.

We will purchase our own tools and animals in Kampala from trusted sources to leave safely on-site for the continued maintenance and creation of further gardens and food sources.

We have set a ourselfs the Timeline of complieting our plan over the period of 3 months and like I wrote above the 3‘050‘000 (882.13$ or 699.77Chf) Uganda Schilling include the living costs for Bonny and myself as we feel as the I can Children is a Refugee project, we should cause them extra costs. Except our accomadation during the time we stay there. Please note we will not be taking anything as pay for us.

The whole mission will be video documented and released on pur youtube channel and can hopefully serve as a blueprint for further camps and projects.

Thanks for your support and donations to make this happen for the I can children.

Lots of Love and Gratitude

Bonny and Colin
