Hey everyone! Last year 2 feral cats started to hang out a lot in our garage and near our home. After a year of painstaking effort I was able to pet the first one, Oreo. A few weeks later his friend (we think sibling) Squatty allowed me to pet him. They are both now real loveees. They love getting petted. We have been feeding both for close to a year now, two meals a day. Oreo was taken to a rescue organization last fall and was fixed and given his first shots at a reduced cost by a good neighbor. But she nor I have been able to capture Squatty. Squatty has a very serious injury to his front left leg. And he appears to be fighting off an upper respiratory infection. I tried grabbing him with protective gloves and he freaked out. I’ve been working with him more and I think I can capture him now. Since he is injured and ill the rescue org will not fix him until he is treated and well. So we want to take him to a local vet hospital. We know it will be very very expensive to have him treated, especially considering his serious wound. We simply don’t have the money to treat him and we need help. I wish it wasn’t the case but it is. We love him and are dying to help him. He is so loving and sweet. Please help us.
