Hi!

Meet Skunk, a sweet German Shepherd we found stranded on a freeway while driving to Tahoe. He frantically trying to avoid the oncoming cars, so we stopped, and he came right to us, allowing us to pick him up and put him into our car.

He was matted, dirty, and he had been sprayed by a skunk(hence his name).We got him to the Marin Humane Society, but after a couple of weeks, we were so sad to learn they were planning to euthanize him due to SOME reactivity with other dogs. But we knew Skunk was a kind and loving dog. He’s sweet, well-behaved with people, and just needs some training to work through his fear.

We’re now giving him that chance—taking him to a trainer who will help him and get him ready for adoption so he can find his forever home.
