Sean Haldeman is a good man. He is a kind, considerate, fun-loving, hard working, gregarious and eternally positive man. Truly the most remarkable man I have personally ever called a friend. There are many that feel as I do-blessed to know Sean and be a recipient of his amazing ability to uplift those around him.
Sean’s wife Jenn passed away at 36 in Oct 2018 following complications from a brain tumor which led to spinal fluid cancer. Sean was left with the couples 3 children, Payton (10), Tyler (8) and Hailey (5). Shortly following Jenn’s passing it was discovered that Payton had Type I Diabetes. Sean has steadfastly cared for his children, kept them safe and secure, and made sure they enjoyed the beauty and opportunities offered in Alaska. They go camping, fishing, hunting, 4 wheeling, hiking and enjoying outdoor fun in summer and in winter. They love Alaska.
Sean needs our help now. He is unable to work. He has become very ill very quickly. In the last two months it was discovered he has POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome). While diagnosis was in progress for the POTS, a golf ball size brain tumor was found. His symptoms at the current time include loss of peripheral vision and cloudy spotty vision, uncontrollable whole body tremors, nausea, migraines, insomnia, vomiting, passing out, random heartbeat issues and shortness of breath and chest pains. There is also a possible testicle tumor recently discovered.
We are raising money to assist Sean and his family with monthly bills, food and mostly medical bills. He is currently on SOA Medicaid and the waiting times for approval of tests and treatment is not on Sean’s side. He is waiting to see if medical care outside Alaska more specific to his situation will help.
Sean is a Journeyman Plumber by trade and top notch in his field. I personally overheard two apprentice plumbers both tell Sean (who was their trainer) how grateful they were having learned the trade from him-not just the knowledge he gladly shared, but for the respectful and considerate manner in which he did so. He then told them both that he was always available anytime in the future for questions or concerns of any kind. That IS Sean-he is a living example of how to listen to and treat others. He always tells everyone to make it a great day each and every time they part.

Please pass this gofundme onto others that may know Sean or perhaps might be willing to assist.
Thank you all.
