Help us help our sweet angel!

On 08/07/2024, We got some of the worst news we could possibly get. A little backstory, our 18-month-old baby girl has been battling a rare form of leukemia especially for someone her age since December of 2023, she has had her good days and her bad days and for the most part has prevailed. The last phase she has been in since June is called delayed intensification, The purpose of it is to receive some of the same medicines and same chemotherapy she has received before but this time more intense, hence the name, and completely wipes her body out physically mentally and emotionally in order to keep the cancer from coming back or getting any worse. We have been recently all tested for a bone marrow transplant once we are done with this phase. Everything was going in the right direction until 08/07/2024, when she suddenly started feeling clammy and cold, and got a fever and became septic. They rushed her to the ICU at Cook's children's hospital where she has been ever since. A day after she became septic, her organs started shutting down, she became very swollen and very stiff from the high amount of ammonia in her blood from her liver shutting down specifically. On top of the ammonia in her blood, It also caused swelling in her brain and bleeding in her brain. She is currently receiving the best possible care that she can at Cooks children's hospital were they are taking it day by day but keep telling us they don't expect her to make it. It is just my husband, myself and our other 3 kids, we don't have family or friend support right now and have been traveling this road alone since the beginning. But now it's more severe and we have to be present more for worse case scenarios, and unfortunately are falling behind on our bills. I mean How do you choose between your child who's fighting for her life or your finances to keep the rest of everything afloat and not lose everything you have, or her a home to come home to when she gets better? We are at a very desperate spot in our life's and are asking for anyone's help. Our local community agencies haven't been much help and so we are at our last resort. If you read this and can spare to help please know it is greatly appreciated and will go towards basic expenses as far as either our baby girl's needs or the financial burdens we have by trying to keep everything afloat while we stand by our babygirl and this extremely hard battle.
