For those of you who don't know, my mom recently went through a kidney transplant. Everything went smoothly, luckily, but while she's recovering I can't stop thinking about all the money that went into it. From the hotel expenses for my dad while she was in the hospital, to the cost of all the medicine, to even driving to and from San Francisco for her checkups, the amount of money that's needed for one of these operations really worried me. If you've met my mom, you know what a sweet, hardworking, selfless, and loving person she is. I can't give back the incredible amount of things she's done for me and my family, but if I can try, in anyway possible, I will. That's why my sister and I have decided to start this page.
