Hi! 

We are a group of close friends living across the world trying to help our friend Rachel*. 

Rachel is a 41-year-old single mother who has been struggling with her mental health for years. On January 4th, she tried to take her own life. 

We have tried to get her into public health systems in Canada and England, both places where she has family and friends, but the process is slow, beds are full and we are unable to continue providing 24/7 care and ill-equipped to give her the professional help she needs.

We have started a GoFundMe to help Rachel get back on her feet. The money raised will go towards providing Rachel with food, shelter and treatment.

Rachel is an amazing person, smart, skilled and ambitious. She has a beautiful son who she loves dearly and she has a lot of life to live.

She's in dire need of professional assistance and round the clock care as there is fear she will try to kill herself again.

A financial donation, however big or small, will have a huge impact on helping Rachel get through the tough journey ahead.
