Milanis URGENT dental surgery

We have recently been turned away from the Mackay Base hospital when presenting Milani with a tooth abscess. Stating that they WILL NOT help us unless she is septic! This has been impacting Milanis daily life to the point where she is having hysterical meltdowns from the pain which is now radiating down her shoulder.

Our Mackay family Dentist referred us to a wonderful Dentist in Townsville that specialises in high anxiety children. He tried extracting the infected tooth in the chair with happy gas. This was horrendously unsuccessful.

We are booked into the Townsville Mater Hospital on the 16th of October for the extraction and major restorative Dental surgery. We have the majority of the funds for the surgery and associated travel and accommodation expenses, however we are $3600 short. We do have private health insurance but we have not yet cleared the waiting periods for a procedure that requires General Anaesthetic.

Please help us reach our goal and help us get our happy little girl back!
