Help Us Help Luella

Hi guys, as you all know, this last month has held a series of unfortunate events for myself and my little family. Between my accident, my surgery, and the need for Luella's continual care, I am finally reaching out for help.    About a month ago, Luella was diagnosed Mammary Cancer aka Breast Cancer.

She's had several vet visits already, and will only continue to have more. Her first major surgery, (left side mastectomy) has already been completed, and is currently in the healing process. Her pathology report came back yesterday,  and we are now aware that two of the tumors were in stage 1, and one was in stage 2 and has potentially gone into her bloodstream. This is going to require chemotherapy treatments (about 9), followed up by a right side mastectomy.   

As you all know, I am currently without a car and have to get her to her appointment in Fort Collins Colorado to the CSU vet clinic to get her treatments. While I'm working on that,  I will need help paying for her visits, as well as the gas and time that it takes to get myself up to Fort Collins and back down to Thornton.   Her surgeries, and vet visits, are estimated to be around $3,500.00 total, and we have only just begun the process of discussing chemotherapy, so the costs of that are unknown at this current moment.  

If there's anything extra left over, I plan to donate it to the CSU Veterinary Hospital for continued education for their vet program, and more specifically, their oncology program in the Cancer Center.
