Help Us Help Lennon

Hello, our names are Lindsey and Ty, and our sweet dog Lennon just turned 8 in May. He is a smart, gentle, big boy and we love him so very much. We know he can have many years of life left. Lennon used to love hikes, long walks, treats, and doing tricks with his sister Cabby. Lately he hasn’t gotten to enjoy these things but hopefully we can get his health back and take him on many more adventures.

Lennon started getting sick in the beginning of June. It started out as a congested bloody nose and lack of appetite. So, we took him in for tests and blood work. Originally we though his body had just developed Thrombocytopenia and Anemia. After weekly expensive vet trips, weekly blood work, and 5 medications a day he just kept getting worse.

We made an appointment to see a specialist at Avets in Monroeville. The specialist did more blood work and checked his abdomen for a mass or anything that could be causing his body to be killing all of his platelets.

They did an ultrasound and found that half of his stomach is significantly thickened and they think it could most likely be a mass or tumor.

He will need a scope to biopsy the area to see if we will need to begin chemotherapy.

We currently spent $1000 of our own money, put $1500 on our credit card, and now the scope will cost between $1400 and $1800 dollars. We are hoping to raise $3000 to cover the scope and all future medical treatment to help our sweet boy be healthy again. Any amount at all would be greatly appreciated to help us help Len!
