Jonathon has been through so much. He has very high anxiety from being in the NICU for the first 4 months of his life. Within those 4 months he underwent 1 open heart surgery and 2 other minor surgeries. Once he came home in April 2011 he was in and out of the PICU and went through another heart surgery. By the time he was 1 he had went through a total of 4 surgeries 2 open heart and 2 minor surgeries. His first 4 years of life was him in and out of the hospital numerous GI cardiology and pulmonary visits. When he was 5 he received another open heart surgery and he needs more. His anxiety from all this has not gotten better as he's gotten older it's only gotten worse. We have been told by his doctors that him having a support dog with him will help him relax while seeing his doctors. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
