Help Us, Help Him, Help Her

Hi everyone this is Dee, John's oldest daughter, coming to you overwhelmingly troubled & greatly burdened, but with a kind & humbled heart.

My step mom, 'Mama Joanna,' has been in and out of the emergency room, ICU, on ventilators and now on Hospice care, as she struggles with severe asthma, COPD, collapsed lungs, heart disease and even heart failure. Her heart is only pumping at 15-20% which is causing her other organs to fail as well. They are currently living completely off grid (just generators, catchment water, etc.) which (I know) is not suitable for the level of care that she needs.

However, dad is doing his ultimate best to keep her in home, as is her dying wishes. In addition, their generators (one after another) keep failing as they struggle to keep all of her machines functioning 24/7. Without such machines, she will die, not just sooner, but a more traumatic death (she will suffer). A Vietnam veteran himself, he is struggling to see her this way as it triggers his PTSD.

Please help me, help them. My mama doesn't wanna die in 'a facility,' she just wants to be home with dad. Therefore, I am praying to raise enough money to get a small solar system in place there, nothing fancy, just something that'll power her machines, or even a better generator, maybe haul in some water, fix the failing parts of their home (there's a few lol), even get some windows or screens installed (they don't even have that). Oh and now their propane fridge just konked out.

If you can't help financially, I'm hoping maybe you, or someone you know, can help with said things. Like I've always said, "we may not have it all together, but TOGETHER WE HAVE IT ALL!" If God moves you to help in one way or another, we will be forever indebted to you for your kindness and generosity. Even just sharing this fundraiser will make all the difference.
