Hi everyone

About a week ago our big boy Brody tore his CCL in his right knee. I’m awaiting his surgery hopefully happening this week or next!

Some back story on Brody! Brody was rescued from an abusive situation. He was dragged by a person when he was only 8 weeks old. I believe the person owning him at the time was training him to be an attack dog. He came home to my parents and I, skinny and mean.

Through love and a LOT of patience Brody grew into the sweetest, kindest man. He is 10 years old now but still has so much life left in him. He has had previous health issues that are under control including one already torn CCL which we had fixed 2 years ago.

My hope with this is to gain some assistance, the surgery here in Newfoundland is $5000.00 more than it is in Ontario (where we are originally from) and my family and I are going to pull whatever strings we can to get this done but for the sake of Brody I always hold my pride back and ask for help, for him.

We would do anything imaginable for him, he is the most important thing to my family and his brother Buki (pictured).
