Help Us Help Brad - Broken Neck and Spinal Injury

On Monday, June 14, 2021, Bradley King broke his neck in two places and injured his spinal cord. He was driving his sand rail around his field a couple of times before putting it away. Although he has spent years riding in this same field without any trouble, on this night things went horribly wrong. The sand rail flipped a couple of times and when it stopped he was pinned underneath. A truck was going by and saw the lights and then saw Brad. They stopped to help along with a neighbor and his wife, Erin. Brad did not want to go to the hospital. He told everyone he was okay. It was only a matter of minutes before he realized he wasn't. His wife took him to Methodist North. Within an hour or so we learned that Brad had broken his neck in two places and that there was damage to his spine. He was being airlifted to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.
Brad is a good man. He works hard for his family and he loves them so very much. His wife, Erin, and he just celebrated 17 years of marriage. His two boys, Connor (12) and Kenny (9) are why he wakes up every day.
Brad had a successful surgery and as I am typing this he is standing up in his hospital room. This accident did not leave room for a maybe. He was either going to suffer paralysis or he was going to get up and work hard to stay that way. The biggest concern he has had hasn't been about him. As always, it was about his family. He doesn't want them to suffer because of what has happened but he knows they already are. After his check tomorrow, he will not have another one for at least three months. His wife works part-time during the school year. It's summer. Brad's check is it.
My brother is so humble. It took me two days to get him to let me try this. He's an if-you-don't-work-you-don't-eat kind of man or someone else needs help more than me. Don't we all need some kind of help at times? Right now, he does.
I am asking y'all to please help me take care of their bills for three months. I want my brother to focus on his recovery. Without your help, all he will focus on is how he is letting his family down. Help me help them.
Y'all have been praying non-stop since you heard the news. Your prayers are being heard. I have just witnessed God stand my brother up. I have no doubt that there are more miracles on the way.
