Hello my name is Jo casey, I have started this Go Fund Me to help raise funds for vet bills. Our benji was found on the streets in July of 2024 and taken into our care - Along with other rescue dogs found over the years. He was very malnourished, bruised and bleeding in lots of places.

Since then Benji has recovered greatly with the help of Clare Animal Welfare who we appreciate lots along with the Rockhall Veterinary Clinic in Limerick. He was full of life, always jumping around and running any chance he got until May of this year, when we moved from Limerick to the Midlands in a rural area where he became very sick and dull and it now seems that the move which we thought would be a improvement on the dogs wellbeing and health which has proved to possibly be the cause of his illness especially being exposed to so many different wildlife and farm animals which could have carried the virus.

He has become so tired and quiet in such a short time along with so many trips to the vets. He has been back and forth nearly every second week for a few months now and still no diagnosis. There has been talk of him possibly catching Ehrlichiosis but in order for us to get him the diagnosis with Nutgrove Veterinary Clinic theres a starting price of €800 which we unfortunately do not have. We have already spent over €2000 trying to get him help so far. Anything you can donate would be so greatly appreciated, Even as little as €5 - every cent counts.

Benji is such a gentle dog despite his size and we hate to see him suffering so much. Thank you in advance to anyone who is willing to donate.
