If you know Anthony, you know he’s the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back. A hardworking, devoted family man with a heart of gold, he always puts his family, friends, and even strangers before himself, never expecting anything in return.

Now, Anthony needs our help.

After major surgery in Melbourne for the removal of an aggressive cancer affecting his only kidney and renal vein, Anthony suffered internal bleeding and spent time in the ICU, including five days in an induced coma. What should have been a time of healing has become the hardest challenge he and his family have faced. While Anthony focuses on recovery, his loved ones remain in Tasmania, unable to be by his side when he needs them most.

The costs of medical care, travel, accommodation, lost income, and ongoing uncertainty have placed an enormous emotional and financial strain on the family.
