Help Us Help a Fellow Tattoo Artist
Donation protected
We are the family of Infinite Ink, a local tattoo and art studio. In the alternative art industry we tend to create strong familial bonds with one another that are lasting, sincere and unbreakable.
Jim Cooper, an artist at Infinite Ink, is one of the center roots of our family. He stands behind and lends a hand without it ever being asked of him. He is a caring soul both towards his blood family, that unfortunately live far away from him, and towards his work family that have become his local family.
Jim suffered a devastating heart attack 6 weeks ago that sent him to Baptist Cardiac ICU where he subsequently suffered multiple further heart episodes that ended with a medically induced coma. During this time he also began to exhibit signs of kidney failure and has since been started on daily dialysis.
Jim is finally allowed to be awake again but received the overwhelming news that he will need multiple heart surgeries because he only has 20% functionality, but cannot have any of the procedures because of the damage to his kidneys. He has been moved to long term patient care for an ‘indefinite’ period of time to stay on dialysis and to attempt physical therapy to regain lost strength and motor skills.
Meanwhile, his Infinite Ink and blood family are trying their best to maintain his home and beloved pets so that he can hopefully go home for recovery once released. Due to the mounting medical bills along with almost 2 months lost wages, Jim’s personal bills are piling up and we need help.
We, Jim’s Infinite Ink family, are trying desperately to keep Jim’s homestead safe from debtors so that he can focus on his health, physical therapy and impending surgeries. We are hoping to raise enough money for him to cover a few months worth of regular bills.
Infinite Ink appreciates the community and any small or large donation anyone can give, as well as any sharing of the fundraising campaign.
