Meet Sweet Madeira
This tiny kitten is the innocent victim of human neglect. Discovered in an area of Morgantown, WV, overwhelmed with abandoned, unaltered cats, Madeira was barely surviving — and doing so in pain.
When Homeward Bound WV took Madeira and her sibling into our care, we were prepared for some medical issues. But nothing could have prepared us for what we saw: Madeira had been living with a painful, perforated eye. Despite her suffering, she greeted us with nothing but love — purring, cuddling, and craving affection.
At just 1.9 pounds, this brave baby now faces eye removal surgery, estimated at $1,200. Why? Because people failed to spay, neuter, and care for her, her sibling, and her mother. But we will not fail her. We’re committed to giving Madeira the love, safety, and medical care she deserves — but we can’t do it alone. Will you help us give her the pain-free, joyful life she’s been denied?
Donate today to help Madeira heal and find her forever home.
Every dollar goes toward her surgery and recovery.
With your help, she’ll never know suffering again.
