Help Our Family After the Loss of My Aunt Eileen

It’s incredibly hard for me to write this because I’ve never been someone who asks for help — but right now, our family truly needs it.

We recently lost my beautiful Aunt Eileen, and our hearts are broken. She was such a light in our lives — full of love, laughter, and warmth. Anyone who knew her knows how special she was. She meant the world to me. We were bingo buddies, best friends, and I was so excited to spend time with her this summer. Now everything feels different without her.

My dad stepped up and paid for her funeral and wake services so we could give her the proper goodbye she deserved. We are so grateful he was able to do that, but it has placed a significant financial burden on him.

On top of that, we are now facing unexpected legal fees and ongoing expenses related to her passing. I will also need to travel back and forth between New York and Tennessee over the next few months to handle arrangements and legal matters, which adds even more strain.

• Helping ease the financial burden on my dad
