I am reaching out to my community as I take a big step to grow my business. After years of running a small retail tea shop in Boonville, I am ready to relocate to a town that is a better fit for my vision and expand into a full tea cafe and bakery. This move is about more than just business growth—it's about finding a place where my products and values can truly thrive. Mendocino offers a vibrant community and a demographic that appreciates quality tea, coffee, and healthy food, as well as creative, ecologically responsible business practices.

There are so many people who have given me the support and encouragement to build my business in small ways that incrementally made a difference over the last three years, and I appreciate the love and warmth from the people of the Anderson Valley! I hope you will find it in your heart to help me secure a place where I can thrive and be able to support my family. I have signed a lease on the cafe space on Lansing Street in Mendocino Village, which many locals remember as Moody’s long ago. I am in the beginning stages of setting up and I need help if I am going to succeed! I’m taking a big leap and trying to be really brave about the whole thing, because it’s a big risk without the proper funding. I know that I have the ability and vision to make this space one of the most memorable destinations in Mendocino, and an amazing place for locals who want a little magic in their daily lives, and I hope to offer employment opportunities for the community as well.

The funds raised will help me purchase essential equipment, obtain the necessary licenses and permits, and hire and train my first staff members. Also, by helping me to transform this amazing space into a welcoming and enchanting cafe where people can gather, connect, and enjoy unique, thoughtfully crafted food and drinks you will be forever a part of something that Mendocino greatly needs. As an artist and visionary I plan to make both the space and the offerings a visual delight, an awakening of the heart, and a way to enrich our lives in every way I can.

One of my goals is to use my business as a platform for social and environmental responsibility. I am committed to offering organic ingredients, compostable packaging and cups, and zero waste refillable product packaging, all while maintaining environmentally responsible practices. I also plan to share profits with local charities, find creative ways to raise funds and awareness for community projects, support youth, help animal rescues, and introduce a pay it forward option at the register so customers can help their neighbors.
