Hello Everyone,

As many of you know, our hearts were shattered this past March when we lost our precious daughter, Saylor, to Krabbe Leukodystrophy—a rare genetic disease. Each day without her reminds us of the immense love and light she brought into our lives, and each day we miss her deeply. Yet, as we grieve, we hold onto hope and a desire to continue growing our family.

**Our IVF Journey**

For families like ours, growing our family isn’t a straightforward path. With a 1 in 4 chance that another child could be born with Krabbe Leukodystrophy and pass away within the first year, we’ve faced unimaginable pain and loss. After careful consideration, we’ve decided to pursue IVF with genetic testing as the safest route moving forward. This decision brings both hope and challenges, as the costs associated with IVF and specialized genetic testing are significant.

**Why We Need Your Help**

The financial requirements of this journey are substantial, and in addition to what we’ve set aside, we’re reaching out for some extra support. The cost of IVF, alongside the specific genetic testing we need due to our family history, is more than we initially anticipated. Any additional help would mean the world to us.
