My husband Dalton and I have been together for six years, and our dream has always been to grow our family. Unfortunately, I have medical issues that have made it impossible for me to get pregnant. We tried fertility treatments, but they were not successful and made me extremely ill, so we had to stop. After A LOT of prayer and reflection, we felt that adoption was the the direction God wants us to go. We are both excited about this journey, but after speaking with several agencies, we learned that a private adoption is very expensive. We do not want to foster, and multiple agencies that we contacted offer free adoptions but only allow you to adopt older children. Our hearts are set on welcoming a baby or toddler into our family. Dalton is a firefighter, and I am a full-time artist. While we very work hard and have a loving home, we simply do not have this amount of funds needed for a private adoption at this time. This opportunity would mean the world to us, as it would fill an area of our hearts and home that longs to love, teach, protect, and share life with a little one. Our families are incredibly excited for us to have children, and we are hopeful that, with your support, we can make this dream a reality. I want to share that Dalton and I are not used to asking for help, we like to do things on our own. But after multiple friends and family members suggested that we be transparent, share our story, and open this journey up to others to offer support, we have decided to be humble and see what God can do through this. We have the most loving home with so much to give. I truly believe in the power of community and have a deep hope that God can help us adopt a child through the love and generosity of others joining this journey with us. Any support—whether through donations or by sharing our story—would mean everything to us. Thank you for considering helping us bring a child into our family and for being part of our story.
