Help us grow our family- Aubrie & Brandon

Hi! We are Aubrie + Brandon! As most of you know, we have had infertility struggles. With that, we are looking at other choices for raising children. We currently raise a 3 year old boy! Very limited on information regarding him, in order to protect his privacy. We are hopeful to adopt a baby or child ages newborn - 3 years old. We have three dogs, and a HUGE family with a lot of love to give to any child we are blessed to raise. We have NO race or gender preference. And are open to whatever adoption birth mama is most comfortable with, open, semi, or closed. Whichever makes her feel most comfortable!

With adoption, comes A LOT of expenses, even in the early stages. Homestudy costs average $2,000-$3,000 in Delaware alone. And that’s before all of the other costs come flooding. We are hopeful for an independent adoption, but not completely opposed to an agency. However, an agency is incredibly more expensive, ranging $30,000-$50,000 versus independent adoption *typically* staying under $20,000. Even raising a quarter of that, would help immensely. While we are financially stable, this amount of money is a lot for anyone to fork up at ANY given time, which is the time frame in which we could receive the opportunity to adopt a child- any given time.

They say it takes a village to raise a child, and we are hoping the same is true for trying to have a child as well. If you don’t feel comfortable donating, or are not in a financial spot to do so, please do not feel bad, sharing our post is help itself. We promise to give updates with where we are in our process and if for whatever reason, this never comes to fruition(not manifesting that), we will put the money towards the process of surrogacy. Any additional/unused funds will go to baby/child items including but not limited to diapers, wipes, supplies, and/or birth mama or the woman carrying (if surrogacy is where we land).

There are a lot of unknowns, and we respect hesitation in that regard. We feel very called to help every child we can, as we have been doing for nearly three years.
