My journey into aquascaping began as a simple gift for my two daughters, but it quickly turned into a passion that has brought us closer together. As I started researching how to care for fish properly, I realized there was so much more to learn than I ever imagined. I discovered that you can't just put fish straight into tap water like I did as a kid—there's a whole process to conditioning the water and creating a healthy, thriving environment for them. This new knowledge inspired me to dive deeper into the aquarium hobby, and I want to share what I learn with other parents and hobbyists who might not know these important details.

Right now, I'm working with a 20-gallon tank, five species of live plants, and big dreams of expanding. My goal is to add more live plants, hardscape, and rocks to create a beautiful, natural setup. Eventually, I hope to upgrade to a 75 or even 120-gallon tank, complete with all the plants, equipment, and fish needed for a vibrant community aquarium. This project isn't just about building a tank—it's about spending quality time with my daughters, learning together, and finding a sense of purpose and joy in a hobby that truly excites me. Every day, I ask questions, research, and strive to do things as perfectly as I can, because this is something that finally feels right in my heart and soul.
