Three and a half years ago, my wife, Amy, and I began our journey to start a family. What we anticipated would happen naturally has instead become one of the most challenging and emotional experiences of our lives. Over the years, we have dedicated our hearts, savings, and resources to this dream. Our path has included two IUI procedures, two rounds of IVF, and a pursued egg donor, none of which resulted in a successful pregnancy. These years were also marked by a devastating accident in late 2022 where we were struck by a vehicle as pedestrians; though Amy initially had a positive pregnancy test while in the hospital following the accident, we ultimately suffered the loss of that pregnancy as well. The emotional and financial toll has been significant. We have invested so much in medications and treatments that are rarely covered by insurance, using our savings and everything we could to keep hope alive. Despite these profound setbacks, we remain resilient. Our doctors believe we are now approaching a final stage that offers a true chance to bring a child into our lives, but after everything we have invested, we have reached a point where we need to ask for help to continue. Reaching out in this way is not easy, but we do so with hope. If you are able, any contribution would move us one step closer to the family we have dreamed of for so long. If you are unable to donate, simply sharing our story would mean just as much to us. Thank you for your kindness, encouragement, and support. We still believe that one day we will finally hold the child we have fought so hard for.
