My husband and I have been on a long and emotional journey to start our family. For the past four years, we have faced fertility struggles, including seven heartbreaking miscarriages. Despite being told by multiple doctors that nothing was wrong and that I had a 'beautiful uterus,' I always suspected something deeper was going on. For over a decade, I voiced my concerns about endometriosis, but it took years to find a doctor who truly listened. I finally found a specialist outside of my insurance who believed me, and just yesterday, I underwent surgery for endometriosis and a clogged fallopian tube.

Now, with hope renewed, we are preparing for our third IVF embryo transfer. This time, there are additional challenges: our embryos are stored across the country, so we need to cover the costs of shipping them safely, as well as ongoing storage fees. Every step of this process is emotionally and financially taxing, but we are determined to keep going.
