Hi, I’m Chassity — founder and creator of 17 Bertha Street, a handmade body care brand born out of culture, intention, and deep love for my East Texas roots.

17 Bertha Street is all about soul and simplicity. Named after the combined address of my paternal and maternal grandmothers, 17 Bertha Street is all about the strength, self love, and wisdom passed down from our mothers, aunts, cousins, and grandmothers. The stories, laughter, and lessons of beauty that were learned at the kitchen counter and behind wooden vanities. I created this brand to honor that spirit — and share it with the world.

Our products are more than skincare — they’re a ritual. A return to softness. A celebration of heritage. A quiet act of self-love.

Each jar of body scrub, bottle of oil, and bar of soap, is made with natural, tried and true ingredients and crafted by hand with care. But now, we’re ready to grow — and I need your help.
