Help us go to the European Universities Rowing Championships
Donation protected
Dear family, friends and rowing fanatics
We are the joint women’s rowing team of the University of Zurich and ETH Zurich. Our team consists of female student-athletes dedicated to excellence both on the water and in academia. We are therefore thrilled to announce that we qualified for the European Universities Championships 2024, taking place in Zagreb (29.8.-1.9.).
Our team has consistently competed successfully in rowing, winning multiple titles in national championships. Participating in the European University Championships offers us an invaluable opportunity to represent our universities and Switzerland on a significant international stage. It is a dream come true.
However, as a self-organized team with only small funding from our universities, we face the significant challenge of covering CHF 10’000 needed for travel, accommodation and competition expenses. As students we have limited budgets, and we would very much appreciate your support. We are thankful for every contribution, and in case you know anyone who’s a rowing fanatic as well, please share this with them.
More about us:
We are a dedicated team of ten student-athletes at the University of Zurich and ETH Zurich. It takes eight rowers and one coxswain to row the eight, with an additional member as a spare. Most of us started rowing at a young age, and we are thrilled to continue competing at a high level while pursuing our academic goals.
