Our youth group, formed by young people from St Gabriel of Our Lady of Sorrows and St Mellitus in Islington, has grown into a beautiful faith community. In a short amount of time, we have been blessed to share days out, attend Praise and Worship events, Youth Masses, and even travel together to Italy for the Jubilee Year 2025.

These experiences have strengthened our friendships and deepened our relationship with Christ. We’ve been incredibly grateful for the support of our parishioners, as well as our families and friends, who have helped us massively along the way.

Now, we are preparing for our biggest journey yet: World Youth Day 2027 in South Korea. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for us to come together with young Catholics from around the world, celebrate our faith, and be inspired to bring that faith back into our communities.

To make this possible, we are committed to fundraising through events, activities, and community efforts. Every contribution - big or small - will help make this journey a reality for our group.
