Hello, we are a group of passionate and civically-minded high school students looking to compete and make a difference at the national We The People Competition in Washington D.C., created by the Center for Civic Education. Over the past few months, we have spent countless hours researching, applying our skills, and collaborating with our wonderful advisor to prepare for the New Jersey competition. Due to our efforts and will, we have secured a "wildcard" seat to compete at the national level along with only one other team. We are eternally proud of our commitment and opportunity, however it is not easy. This life-changing trip has brought us to make a difficult decision as a team, due to the high cost of this program. Our team would be honored to continue to grow and create a lasting impact in society at large. This competition will be our testament to prove that our generation holds our country's future in our hands.
