We are the DI Falcons Team (Amarachi, Grace, Shalini, Joshua and Riya) from Kinnelon, New Jersey, and we would love your support to get us to Kansas city, MO to compete at the 2019 Destination Global Finals.
What is Destination Imagination (DI)?
Destination Imagination (DI) is a STEM based educational organization that gives students the chance to learn and experience the creative process from imagination to innovation, by teaching participants the essential skills of creativity, teamwork, and problem solving that allows students to go beyond the classroom to imagine and create, while learning to work together as a team. Each year, 1,800 or more teams advancing from regional, state, and country-level tournaments have the opportunity to compete at Destination Imagination's Global tournament held in May at Kansas City, Missouri. The top two teams in the state finals will advance to the global competition in Kansas City, Missouri.

We worked really hard over the past few months on our technical challenge, and on Saturday March 23rd we completed at the New Jersey Destination Imagination State tournament and won 1st Place. This qualified us to advance to globals where we will compete against other teams across the nation and around the world. We are very excited about the unique opportunity to collaborate with our peers from around the world on complex problem-solving opportunities.
We are reaching out to you our families and friends to help support our fundraising goal and get us to the DI Global Finals in Kansas city. We are fundraising to help cover our teams cost of registration fee, airfare, and hotel accommodation. No amount is too small and every bit helps to help us reach our Fundraising goal.
