James “Hollywood” Whitaker, WAKO Team USA fighter. James Whitaker has been a competitive fighter since he was 13 years old. He has fought all over the world on the WAKO Team USA Jr and Sr national team. He and his teammates are heading to Brazil to fight in the Pan American Kickboxing Championships. This is a qualifying tournament to get to World Combat Games in Saudi Arabia in 2023. Both of these events are very important to his long-term goal of making it to the Olympics. We have been to Italy twice, Mexico, and Ireland. All of these trips we have paid out of pocket. This Brazil trip is MUCH more expensive. Many have asked us to make a go-fund-me page. All team USA fighters and coaches must pay out of pocket to travel and compete. We rely on donations and sponsorships.
