Keep How Convenient in our community

We have known Nathan, AKA Purrbot, since the 7th grade. He is an artist at heart and has inundated his world with songs, poetry, paintings, drawings, zines, letters, blogs, collaborations, you name it. His Grown Up endeavor is his vision for a queer friendly environment where community connections can be made in a safe space. This small, quirky space is designed to be a bodega, a collective of things needed as well as just wanted, to be a source of support for minorities going about their daily lives.
Nathan routinely supports other artists and their creative arts by collaboration. “Pop Ups” with local folks further underscore his wish to provide community and safe space.
Navigating the business world is difficult for seasoned owners and has been a completely new world for a novice owner. As Nathan learns what is wanted and needed by his neighborhood, the economy continues to shift into new and uncertain territory. Now Nathan needs support to continue his vision. Any contribution is fantastic, including not just monetary support but also any business boosting via social media and word of mouth.
Funds will be used to pay rent, utilities, provide a cushion for future economic uncertainty, build an advertising plan and bring in new products and vendors to meet his customers' needs.
