I’m Zach Sato from Havens Harborside, and I’m honored to be the caterer for a very special beach BBQ for the Paradise High School and Lahainaluna football teams. These two teams represent communities that have both experienced devastating fires and unimaginable loss, and this gathering is a meaningful chance to bring everyone together in Lahaina. One of the coaches originally reached out to our company about helping, and the principal of Paradise High School also asked us to cook for this event. We feel truly honored to be part of something so heartfelt for these kids and their families.
I’m raising funds to help cover the costs of food and supplies for the day, including water, juice, soft drinks, plates, utensils, and ice. Donations will also help us give the teams a bigger luau feast, with higher ticket items like kalbi ribs, poke, pulehu tako, squid luau, and more. My hope is to create a special meal where the teams and their loved ones can relax, connect, and share a positive moment together.
This meal is super important to me on a personal level. The keiki is our future, and being able to make this day special for them means a lot to me. Food always brings people together, and cooking is what I do best, so I’m happy to help. Our team is always super grateful for the community’s support, and that support is what allows us to pay it forward to awesome things like this. If you’re able to donate or share this fundraiser, anything helps. Mahalo nui loa for being part of this special day and for helping us support these two resilient communities.
