Hello, my name is Ernie Henry, and I’m raising funds on behalf of my beloved sister, Takara Jihan Henry, who passed away unexpectedly on September 27, 2025, in Temple Hills, Maryland.

Takara was born on January 24, 1984, in San Diego, California, and grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland, which she always considered home. She was deeply loved by her family and friends — a bright, funny, and fiercely loyal soul who touched everyone she met.

Our family is heartbroken by her loss and is working to give her the beautiful homegoing service she deserves. Unfortunately, the costs associated with funeral and burial arrangements have placed a significant financial burden on us.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward covering funeral expenses, burial arrangements, and related costs. Any contribution — no matter the amount — will help us honor Takara’s memory with the dignity, love, and peace she so deeply earned in life.
