This year, we are celebrating a truly special milestone: our mom, Sue Walker, is turning 80.

If you know Sue, you know that family has always been the center of her world. She is the person who shows up, checks in, prays for you, and gives her time without ever expecting anything in return. Even at 80, she remains incredibly active in her church, mentors teens and young moms, serves meals to the unhoused, and continues to work part-time as a home health aide, caring for others the way she always has.

Sue has spent her life giving. Giving her time, her energy, her love, and her heart to her family and her community. What she doesn’t often do is ask for anything for herself.

So this birthday, we want to do something different.

In lieu of gifts, we are asking for donations to help us surprise Sue with a dream Florida getaway surrounded by the people she loves most, her girls and grandboys. This trip is our way of saying thank you for a lifetime of sacrifice, kindness, faith, and unconditional love. We want her to relax, soak up the sunshine, make memories, and most importantly, enjoy it all without worrying about the cost.

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us make this celebration one she will never forget. Thank you for helping us honor a woman who has spent 80 years making the world better for everyone around her.
