Hello I first want to introduce myself, my name is Alex Vasquez i was a close friend to Shirley she was more than just a friend she was family to a lot of us. She was there for my family when we lost my cousin Gina and I want to give my respect to help as much as I can, also I was given permission from Linda Rubio to create this GoFundMe.

I am reaching out to everyone with a heavy heart and a humble request. As many of you know, our beloved Shirley touched the lives of everyone she met with her kindness, warmth, and unwavering spirit. She was always there for everyone even on her bad days, In her memory, we are launching a campaign to raise money to give Shirley the dignified farewell she deserves.
