Help Us Give Shawnice the Send-Off She Deserves
Donation protected
For the last two and a half years, my sister Shawnice battled acute myeloid leukemia. This was said to be one of the toughest cancers, but the easiest to treat.
Nothing about her journey seemed easy. During this time she fought hard through the downs of chemotherapy treatments, and a compromised immune system that often put her in a critical state or ICU; yet, she kept the faith, and continued the fight.
She had her moments, but refused to stay in them because in the midst, she was encouraging others through their battles.
Last Friday she endured a moment that she tried to fight her way through, but God also knew she was tired and in need of rest. On yesterday November 18, 2024, Shawnice was redirected to a place where she could rest. If we could’ve held on a little longer, we would have, but then that may have been selfish.
What we can do is express our love for her by ensuring that she has the dignity in death that she exemplified throughout her debilitating disease.
Our family is asking that you partner with us to give Shawnice the send off she is so worthy of. Please give as much as your heart and love for Shawnice leads you to give. We appreciate your generosity and thank you in advance."
