Help Us Give Sebastian a Proper Goodbye

Hello, my name is Saidee & I am Sebastian’s little sister. I am starting this GoFundMe for him, not me. Let me tell you a little bit more about my brother.

Sebastian was born September 30th, 1993. He was only ten months younger than our sister, Jasmine, who was born November 30th, 1992. Irish twins! They grew up together & obviously grew super close to one another. Growing up wasn’t easy; it was just our momma & us. She did everything in her power to raise us under a good roof, with food in our stomachs & clothes on our backs. We were content.

In Sebastian’s teen years, things started to change. He developed a passion for skateboarding & it eventually turned into music. It all started with one guitar. He started playing guitar when he was about 9-10 years old. Guitar slowly grew into playing different instruments, then it fully turned into making his own music. He called his music “SebStep.” He made dubstep/EDM-inspired songs. It was his biggest inspiration in life.

Life was going good until July 8th, 2013... the day we lost our sister Jasmine in a tragic car accident. After that day, Sebastian was never the same. He turned to drugs & alcohol to try to cope with losing our sister. He tried multiple times to better himself; he knew the path he was taking never ended well. Year after year, he got more & more consumed by alcohol. It was the first thing he would do in the morning until the moment he closed his eyes at night. It slowly killed him. He was only 28 years old when he died from liver failure on August 23, 2022.

The only reason I am making this GoFundMe is because to this day, we haven’t had the money to buy him a headstone. I just want to be able to give him the proper honor & goodbye he deserves.
