Help us give Roberta Diane Ramirez the farewell she deserves
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Aly, and I’m raising funds to help cover the funeral costs for Roberta Diane Ramirez, a beautiful soul who touched the hearts of everyone she met. These funds will go directly to her brother, Joe Ramirez, who is arranging a service to honor her memory.
Robbie's life took a heartbreaking turn when, a lack of an appetite and a pain in her side turned into an ER visit, she was diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer then and there. The mass on her pancreas had spread to her liver, and given her age and condition, surgery or chemotherapy wasn’t an option. To avoid causing her any distress, she was placed on hospice care and given two months to live. In a bittersweet twist, just two days after this diagnosis, Robbie passed away peacefully, without pain, with Joe by her side.
Robbie had been disabled since birth, and for the past nine years, Joe and my mother had been her devoted caregivers. When my mom passed away, Joe took on the full responsibility of caring for Robbie. Being a full-time caregiver is not a paid job, and while Joe made ends meet, saving for her funeral wasn’t feasible.
Now, Joe needs help to lay Robbie to rest in the plot next to her mother. Robbie’s joy, kindness, and unwavering love for those around her were gifts we were lucky to experience. She was truly an angel in our lives, and we want to give her the farewell she deserves.
Unfortunately, the funeral home has given us a deadline to raise the funds, just two days before her service on September 17th and 18th. We’re asking for anything you can contribute to help make this possible.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity during this difficult time.
