Dear Family and Friends,

It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the sudden and unexpected passing of Raquel Runas on January 12, 2025. She was an extraordinary mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Raquel was the heart and backbone of our family—a selfless matriarch who always put others first, ensuring we were taken care of no matter her own circumstances. We will miss her infectious laughter, the way she could comfort us with a delicious home-cooked meal, and her steady ability to be our voice of reason when we needed it most. Her love and presence will stay with us always.

In honoring her life, we want to give her the farewell she truly deserves. Any contributions, big or small, will be greatly appreciated and will be directed towards the funeral. Any remaining funds will be given to her son, DJ, to help support him.
